1926-2016
On January 9, 2016, horror lost one of its great boogeymen when Lawrence Guy aka Angus Scrimm (well known for playing The Tall Man in the Phantasm series) passed away at the age of 89. While people including myself will always know him for that role, he does have a bit of Monster Crap history here too as he was an appearance under his real name in Chopping Mall as Dr. Carrington.
Yeah, Sadly....He Was In This Film That I Still Despise.
From what people who have met him, have told me...Angus was one of the kindest guys they have met despise his scary appearance. With him living for 89 years, I choose more to celebrate his life than mourn his passing, but know that he will be missed by many in the horror community.
