1939-2021
It is with great dismay that I report that Sonny Chiba (one of the most legendary Japanese actors and martial artists) has passed away at the age of 82 from complications due to COVID-19. While many of you will remember him as Terry Tsurugi from The Street Fighter series, Yagyu Jyubei in all the movies and shows with that character, and for more modern audiences, Hanzo Hattori in Kill Bill Vol. 1. However, we here at Monster Crap HQ will remember him from an early induction onto this site in Invasion Of The Neptune Men.
He will definitely be missed.
