Seth's Odyssey: Monster Mania September 2021

I have to mention again that 2021 was a shitty year for me so I have had to stay at home a lot in the beginning. Things then got better and it really helped that I was able to go to a minor league Fredericksburg Nationals game which was fun although hot as hell. Then, I finally was able to get out and go to a convention that I decided to go to since the one and only Joe Bob Briggs was announced to be there. Then there were other big celebrities announced and sadly some names that also had to drop out too. Finally, I was able to go with my mom and best friend to Maryland. This is.....an Odyssey. 

Well, I entered the good ole Hunt Valley Inn (now known as a Marriott Delta Hotel) and while waiting in line to check in to my room, I saw Richard Dreyfuss walk by and he waved. I immediately went to my room and I relaxed a little bit before I went to get my first autograph. I also have to mention that in all these pictures of myself with the celebrity, I had my mask on so to all of you idiots who say they can't breathe with a mask on, you obviously can. Also, a few of these autographs may be upside down and that is because of the camera. I will not change them so deal with it. 

As I Was Taking The Picture, Richard Asked Me On The Side When I Started Going B-A-L-D And Since It Is No Problem To Me, I Said That I Started Losing Hair At The Age Of 18. Hey, It Could Have Been Worse As My Dad Started Losing Hair When He Was 15. It Happens...

I then went walking by and saw some really cool stuff on sale.

Or These Really Great Molds Of Jason Voorhees From Friday The 13th Part 7 And Leatherface From The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake.

The Monster Mania Staff Was Completely Not Ready For The Popularity Of Joe Bob Briggs And It Took Them An Hour To Set Up The Joe Bob Briggs Stand. All Of This Made For A Long Time Standing Up And I Had To Sit Down Several Minutes Because Of My MS. I Carry A Cane To Stand For A While And The Only Reason A VIP Ticket Holder Didnt Get To Cut In Front Of Me For The Autograph Was Because Of It. After I Got This Autograph And Picture, I Went Back To My Room And Was Done For The Night As It Was Late And I Was Tired. Joe Bob And Darcy The Mail Girl Were Cool People Though. 

It was now Day 2 of the convention and since Christopher Lloyd had arrived, I decided to wait in line to get his autograph. While in line, I got a few pictures. 

An Adult Jamie Lloyd (Even If It Is A Guy In The Costume) And Claire Redfield....Random

A Kid As Ash Williams. Gotta Kill Deadites Even When They Are Young. 

Michael....Jamie Lloyd Went That Way.

Poor Sweet Tooth Got His Ice Cream Truck Stolen And Now Is Stuck At The Convention.

Speed Racer Got Into A Really Terrible Crash That Injured Himself And Chim Chim, Yet Nobody Will Help Him (Including Myself....Wow, I Am An Asshole.

I then finally got Christopher Lloyd's autograph. 

I Made Mention Of The Lack Of A Picture Of Judge Doom With The Cartoon Eyes And Even Chris And The People Around Him Admitted That Having That Picture Would Have Been Great To Have.

After Getting My Autograph, I Saw Jason Voorhees Relaxing And I Just Had To Take A Picture Of This.

I then went back to my room for brunch (had two Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuits from McDonald's) and after that, I went out to get some more autographs and get some more pictures of people in costume. 

I Wonder If I Should Tell Danielle Harris That Michael Myers Is Looking For Her. 

Ronald Myers (Ronald McDonald/Michael Myers mix) Has To Be Stopped.

I Was Very Surprised With How Small Line Was For Alex Winter. Oh Well, Easy Availability For Me.

I Keep Forgetting That Adrienne Barbeau Was The Voice Of Catwoman In Batman: The Animated Series. Also, Great To Get Her Autograph Since She Was In My Favorite Creepshow Story In The Crate As Well As Films Like The Fog, Swamp Thing, And Escape From New York. 

While I Don't Play Dead By Daylight, I Do Know Who The Huntress Is So I May Wanna Run Before She Puts Me On A Hook.
