As you all know, Sam Neill sadly passed away in July and I made pretty clear that I would be honoring the late great actor with the October induction. Now I know a recent death may make me change course, but I will deal with that in December as I made this promise and I intend to keep it. Unfortunately, several of the potential nominees are not readily available on DVD so I will have to do a rare number of nine nominees for you to vote on. After The Disappointment That Was The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2, Universal Decided They Needed To Bring Back Sam Neill As Dr. Alan Grant For The Third Installment In A Film That For A While, Killed The Jurassic Park Franchise For 7 Years.
A Film From John Carpenter That Has Sam Neill In It Being Terrible? How Can That Be? Well, This Is The Early 90s And Sadly This Was The Point Where Chevy Chase and Darryl Hannah's Egos Made This Film A Nightmare To Deal With And It Showed. Thankfully, John Carpenter Would Make It Up To Sam Neill With In The Mouth Of Madness.
This Was A Film That Was Released In The US In 2017 And Considering I Rated This As My Third Worst Movie Of That Year, You Can Guess That I Really Hated This. Sam Neill Is Wasted In A Cyberpunk Matrix Rip-Off That Also Somehow Involved Religion.

Sadly, Much Of This Really Feels Like Real Life With Donald Trump.

Luckily For Scarygirl And Unluckily For Us, Scarygirl Was An Australian Animated Film Where He Didn't Even Really Need To Do Much Movement And Just Lend His Voice As The Evil Dr. Maybee.
In The Same Year That Sam Neill Did A Film I Really Liked Called Event Horizon, He Also Did A Horror Movie Take On Snow White (Although The Character Names Are Different) With Sam Neill Playing The Father Of Snow White Character Named Baron Frederick And Sigourney Weaver Playing The Evil Stepmother/Queen Character Named Lady Claudia. Lesser Known Film And Sadly, They Decided To Have Monica Keena Play The Snow White Character Named Lilli. Also Bad Directing Dooms This Film.
A Rare Family Low Budget Affair Set In China Where Two Teenagers Have To Go With Their Single Parents To China For An Archeological Dig In Search Of A Pearl That Can Control A Real Life Chinese Dragon While A Bad Guy Wants The Pearl For His Own Sinister Purposes. It Has A Monster So It Counts In That Regard And Sam Neill Plays The Lead Male Archeologist.
Two Kids Who Lost Their Mother Go To Stay With Relatives In Auckland, New Zealand When They See A Strange Old Man With Fire In His Hands (Played By Sam Neill). There Is Also A Haunted House And Strangely Enough, Underground Alien Organisms Who Want To Kill The Twins As Part Of Their Plans To Conquer The World. It Is Definitely An Odd Film For Sure.
