Monster Crap September 2019 Inductee Poll (10 Year Site Anniversary)

10 Years.....10 years of this great site existing. It's funny because I originally had plans to buy an actual site at GoDaddy.com, but I decided my cheap ass would get a site free with Blogspot and in all honesty, I made the right call. So much has happened after that, like radio show appearances that led to a weekly show of Impact Implosion at AngryMarks, other failed radio shows, NegaSeth appearing, and of course the Monster Crap Fantasy Football Bet. But for my 10 Year Anniversary Induction, I've decided to that you can choose one of 16 films that some would say could be inducted into Monster Crap, but I would never have done so. So yeah...I'll induct one film just for you to celebrate 10 years.

Deep Blue Sea (1999 film) poster.jpg
Deep Blue Sea (1999)
One Of My Favorite Shark Films That Isn't Jaws As The Cast, Soundtrack, And Plot Make It Unique From Many Other Films.

Freddy vs. Jason movie.jpg
Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
Two Slashers Face Off In A Film That Took Years To Make And While It May Have Not Aged Well, It Is Still A Fun-Filled Battle Featuring The Two

Gorgo 1961.jpg
Gorgo (1961)
Probably The Best Of The Godzilla Rip-Off Films Because It Actually Has A Different Idea Of The Monster Rampaging The City Not Being The Complete Bad Guy

Jaws2 poster.jpg
Jaws 2 (1978)
While Not As Good As The First Film, I Enjoyed This Sequel. Roy Schieder Shines Again And Shows Why He Is Best To Take Care Of A Killer Shark.

King Kong vs Godzilla 1962.jpg
King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)
The Battle Between The Two Biggest Monsters Of All Time And While There May Be Some Shenanigans, It Was Still Fun.

Theatrical release poster for Leviathan
Leviathan (1989)
Some May Consider This Nothing More Than An Abyss Rip-Off, But With Actors Like Peter Weller, Richard Crenna, Daniel Stern, Ernie Hudson, Hector Elizando, & Meg Foster. I Enjoy This Film Better Than The Abyss.

Lobster Man from Mars.jpg
Lobster Man From Mars (1989)
A Film I Rented Several Times From A Mom & Pop's Type Video Rental Store In Red Bank, New Jersey, I Am Truly Sad This Spoof Is Not More Well Known

MaximumOverdrivePoster.jpg
Maximum Overdrive (1986)
Stephen King Directs A Film That Might Be Considered Bad, But An AC-DC Soundtrack, Enjoyable Cast, And Awesome Ass Truck Attacks, How Can I Not Love This Film. One Of The Rare Films I Actually Like That Has Pointless Child Death

Mortal Kombat poster.jpg
Mortal Kombat (1995)
This Is Truly In My Opinion Is The Greatest Movie Based On A Video Game, But Of Course, Because It Just So Happened To Be PG-13 And The Mortal Kombat Video Games Are Known For Their Gore, Some People Hate This Film.

Orca KW.jpg
Orca (1977)
Another Film That Is Merely Considered A Jaws Rip Off, Even Though In This Case, The Sea Creature Is Not The Villain Of The Film As Our Main Character Is The True Villain.

Phantomsposter.jpg
Phantoms (1998)
Some People May Complain About How We Don't Get To Think Kindly Of The Killer Monsters (*cough* Roger Ebert *cough*), But Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back Said, Ben Affleck Was The Bomb In Phantoms.

Prophecy.jpg
Prophecy (1979)
Where Else Are You Gonna Find A Film About A Killer Mutant Bear? Again...Some People Don't Like It Because They Are Very Bias Against Monster Movies. But Prophecy Is A Strange Name For This Film.

Species 1995 poster.jpg
Species (1995)
Natasha Henstridge Is Great In This Film About A Naked Sexy Alien Who Wants To Procreate And With People Like Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina, Michael Madsen, Forrest Whitaker, And Marg Helgenberger, I Would Like It. But Because Hollywood Critics Hate Sexy Aliens Who Want To Have Sex, It Got Bad Reviews.

The Boogens Poster.jpg
The Boogens (1981)
People May Say It Has An Incoherent Plot, But This Fun Little Creatures Being Slashers Is Enjoyed By People In Horror Like Stephen King And I Trust People In Horror More Than I Do These Silly Critics.

Behemoth, the sea monster.jpg
The Giant Behemoth (1959)
One Of The Last Films With Stop Motion By Willis O'Brien Was This Film That Is The Second Monster Movie I Ever Saw (First Being Beast From Hollow Mountain). It Is Still One I Enjoy Despite Critics Calling It Derivative And Being Boring Because Of The Brits (Seriously, Some Guy Basically Said That).

Monsterchallengedtheworld.jpg
The Monster That Challenged The World (1957)
Killer Mollusks In What Was The Third Monster Movie I Ever Saw Make For A Decent Worry For People And Because People Find Killer Versions Of Them An Insane Idea And The Movie May Be More Slower Than Usual, People Did Not Like This Film, But I Do.
